The mystery of the MAOI

The monoamine oxidase inhibitors. They seem like a mysterious class of medication. "Significant side effects," "potentially fatal interactions," but "highly effective." After having tried many different medications, to varying degrees of success, now I have the opportunity to try the mysterious, almost neglected and forgotten MAOI. I hold the bottle of Nardil in my hand. It took a while to get to my hand. Walgreens actually had to order it because they didn't have it. I open it up. The orange pills glow like pieces of coal in a barbeque. They smell highly chemical, more than any other medication.
